5th December 2005 Kite surfing: El Gouna Wind Direction: nne Wind Stength: 15 to 22 knts Surf / Sea State: flat/chop Air Temperature: hot Sea Temperature: hotter Weather: sun Max Speed: mental Distance Covered: even menta Awesome day today, forecasts all show 6knts of wind but it has been 15 to 22 knts all day and still now at 7.30, went out on the new flexi fusion...WOW, it was the 12m fully powered up and this two ate the gusts, the kite is super quick, i was bearing down and thrashing the pants of most guys, the speed is insane, i was cutting upwind higher than ive ever gone before you just get the kite to speed then back of the bar and it rockets upwind spent about 6hours on the water and me and andy are completely knackered.. just to let you know with all this talk of drysuits, me and andy are in shorts and rashies, when you drop into the waist deep water its like having a warm bath, absolute bliss andy was on the 12m turbo diesel all day and no doubt he will post a report top day |
